![]() I think I've watched every Video on YT about persistence on Ventoy hoping to find just one that shows the process completed on a Windows machine. Preferably using Windows as that way I'm less likely to have everything go Mammaries aloft!įound this but like dogs that chase postmen, I have no idea what to do with it thanks for replying. ![]() I was also keen to have persistence for one ISO, and despite being unable to understand the instructions (almost exclusively via Linux Terminal) I have gleaned From this Ventoy page that the process is not exclusively for just one ISO which is very interesting, but I need help from some experienced user! I also notice that one of my installed ISO's, Peppermint Linux doesn't seem to include any web browser, or any method of browsing the internet.Īttempting to use the software to install one failed as I didn't understand how to use it! It appears that the only way to access it retrospectively is to once more download the dratted ISO! The problem I have with attempting to validate these already installed ISO's, is that I now have no access to the SHA256 checksum! I pasted the ISO's to the Ventoy stick without validation and they seem to be fault free, however, watching a video later, I stumbled across a piece of software "GtkHash" which seems to do the job without all the obfuscation I experienced following all the links from the forum! ![]() Having just started using Ventoy, I have a few questions.įirst, I lost the will to live after following myriad links on the subject of validating downloads using SHA256 checksum and gave up.
